Theatre Designer/Educator

I am a scenic designer and educator for the theatre in the New England area. I have an MFA in scenic design from Indiana University (Bloomington). I am passionate about both plays and musicals that express the importance of art, representation, and self-empowerment in relation to todays society.
How can we improve our own situations while making the changes we need on a world-wide scale? Am I enough to spark a difference? Can we try it anyway?
