Experience
ARTsmart NM–I lead the organization’s administration, fundraising, programs, systems, and board management, ensuring access to high-quality arts education for all students in Santa Fe public schools and surrounding rural communities.
One of my proudest achievements has been fostering a historic board consensus around our vision, mission, and strategic priorities, a collaborative effort that has resulted in:
-Streamlined program offerings, giving services greater potency.
-Strengthened board effectiveness, reducing size from 15 to six while honoring individual contributions and recruiting new members to fill knowledge gaps.
-Completed full rebranding of the organization, including website overhaul.
OFFcenter Community Arts Project–I expanded free arts programming and income opportunities at this open art studio serving all Albuquerque’s community members. I also curated thematic exhibitions and partnered with surrounding schools and social services agencies for free arts programming and exhibitions.
