Black Hills Playhouse
Founded in 1946, The Black Hills Playhouse (BHP) is a region-wide theatrical service organization. Its mission is to engage diverse people and build stronger communities through artistically challenging, transformative, and inclusive performing arts experiences. The Black Hills Playhouse summer stock theater produces a 12-week season in an intimate 347-seat proscenium theater located in Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Additionaleducational programs based out of Sioux Falls, SD serve people throughout the state through children’s theatre tours, summer performing arts camps, and all-ability programs including classes and theatre productions.
