Are you passionate about art and craftsmanship? Do you have a keen eye for color and design? Wallcraft, Inc., a leading provider of custom finishes and decorative painting services, is seeking a talented Artist/Craftsperson to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in color theory, methods, and materials, including paint, metal finishes, Venetian plaster, faux finish painting, and light carpentry.
• An art background is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and locations, with 90% of work conducted on client sites and 10% in our Baltimore City shop.
• Travel frequently within the Baltimore/DC/Eastern Shore/Northern VA to various locations.  Additional travel opportunities further afield are also available, such as New York, Florida, California, Texas and Colorado.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into stunning decorative finishes and artwork.
• Execute a variety of painting and finishing techniques to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes.
• Work on-site at client locations, ensuring projects are completed to specifications and deadlines.
• Occasionally perform shop work in Baltimore City, preparing materials and completing projects as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and in the shop.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices at all times.

Benefits:

• Competitive compensation paid on a piece-work basis (ranging from $40,000 to $70,000 based upon skill and time commitment.
