I have most recently worked as Gallery Coordinator for a nonprofit arts organization that was former chapter of “Very Special Arts” a program now the Kennedy Center International Organization on Arts and Disability. Art Access showcased art for over thirty years made by artists of all abilities.  I have also worked in the nonprofit sector where I was able to marry my creative and fine art skills with social service experience in community art studio and art education settings. I also have taught at the university and continuing education level. I found that the curatorial, artist development and peer support I engaged in a gallery setting was most rewarding and what I would like to continue doing.
