Develop and facilitate a course where students address our community’s most pressing issues through thinking by design, creativity, and collaboration with a secondary goal of increasing a sense of community among Sophomore and Junior students who study in various degree paths for the Innovation in Honors Program.

Culture Building:
I use regular creative low-stake assignments, flipped classroom engagements, and open-ended thought experiments to shape a classroom culture of creative and collaborative teamwork.
Flipped Classroom:
By learning to play the ukulele along with my students with no prior experience, I have undermined the normal politics of a classroom and created space for students to drive their own learning goals.
