Develop and facilitate a course where students address our community’s most pressing issues through thinking by design, creativity, and collaboration with a secondary goal of increasing a sense of community among Sophomore and Junior students who study in various degree paths for the Innovation in Honors Program.

Key Initiatives:

Culture Building:
I use regular creative low-stake assignments, flipped classroom engagements, and open-ended thought experiments to shape a classroom culture of creative and collaborative teamwork.

Flipped Classroom:
By learning to play the ukulele along with my students with no prior experience, I have undermined the normal politics of a classroom and created space for students to drive their own learning goals.

Collaborate with Memorial Foundation to accrue grants, donations, and sponsors for the outreach program

Collaborate with IT to build a database to correlate partner and program data; track and maintain records on over 4,000 patients per year
