Technical Director

We are seeking a Technical Director for the world premiere of a new play which will take place at A.R.T./NY Theatres on West 53rd Street in NYC.

Load-in is August 28 with tech through Sept 3, and opening on September 9, 2023.
Load-out/strike on September 24, 2023.

Our TD would: oversee the load-in/assembly of the set, including some painting; oversee sound equipment load-in/hang; be on hand in case any technical issues emerge during lights load-in/hang; and be able to reliably speak to the safety of our rigging and our general work in the space.
Some carpentry skills would be useful (in terms of set assembly; set will be constructed offsite and delivered for assembly in the space).

Fee: $2000
