Position for Crate Shop Office Administrator
High-end art handling company seeks a meticulous and professional candidate to work as a Crate Shop Office Administrator.
Must be a motivated, independent individual who can collaborate well within a team dynamic to facilitate all aspects of crate production.
Position demands that candidate be highly attentive to detail, have an excellent phone manner and professional client correspondence.
Ability to articulate and clearly communicate while maintaining positive energy within a fast-paced, challenging work environment is a must.
Daily routine requires the Crate Shop Office Administrator to field heavy volume of phone calls and emails, provide estimates, schedule shipments, prepare work orders within a FileMaker Pro database, perform general office administrative tasks as needed, maintain supply inventories, anticipate problems while troubleshooting solutions and cultivating client relationships.
The job requires strong attention to detail, professional etiquette, self-motivated, comfortable with responsibility along with working well independently and as team player. Familiarity with materials and the handling of art and/or artifacts is a plus.
The ability to maintain work flow, communicate ideas, and work as team player with our highly skilled staff is essential.
Ideal candidate will have an arts background (BFA/MFA preferred), will have held prior position/s in a similar job capacity or office setting, and will have familiarity with Mac, FileMaker Pro, Word, Excel, and Photoshop.
