Job Summary:

The Digital Media Manager works in tandem with the Director of Marketing and Communications to plan, implement, and analyze paid and organic digital media in order to drive traffic, build new audiences and increase revenue for the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop and maintain institution-wide digital communications calendars.
Manage all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Yelp, etc.) including content calendars, organic and paid posts, and community management.
Strategize, create (script, shoot, and edit), and implement compelling and engaging online content (both graphic and video) and manage outside vendors when needed.
Serve as the “brand manager” of ZACH’s website: refreshing content and implementing updates through the CMS as needed.
Serve as the liaison for digital agency to plan, implement and analyze full-channel campaigns including paid search, display, retargeting, and paid social.
Regularly track and analyze cross-channel performance and report weekly to internal Marketing team. Optimize as needed.
Respond to audio/video requests from other departments in need of content for grant applications, development campaigns, etc.
Create and schedule content for digital lobby displays
Work with Senior Marketing Manager to build email marketing strategy including messaging, timing, list segmentation, and reporting/analysis.
Develop new and innovative Digital Initiatives to build program attendance and new audiences.
Work with team of of designated power users to make Marketing updates in ZACH’s internal Intranet (Wiki) site.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree + 2-4 years experience in digital marketing. Non-profit and Arts experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Familiarity with Google Apps Suite is a plus.
Experience with Social Reporting and Management tools (Meltwater, Hootsuite, etc.), Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Adwords.
Demonstrated skills in WordPress or comparable CMS
Demonstrated skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and preferred video editing software. Basic HTML and website CMS skills preferred.
Demonstrated project and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Demonstrated video production skills
Demonstrated web management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
Strong attention to detail
