Job Description

Global Arts Live, a nonprofit organization based in Cambridge, MA, brings the best international music, contemporary dance, and jazz from around the world to stages across Greater Boston. 

We are currently seeking a part-time, experienced Digital Marketing Manager to create, execute, and analyze an integrated content strategy to drive web traffic and ticket sales, and communicate our nonprofit mission.

The successful candidate will be proficient in current trends and technologies in digital marketing, utilizing social media, web analytics, email communications, and more to develop, deliver, and track content across platforms. 

This 6- month part-time, contract position begins June 7, 2021 and ends November 26, 2021. Part-time hours are flexible, with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours a week for 6-months, with a possibility of contract extension or transition to full-time. 

Responsible for developing, executing, and managing  

  • Social media (organic, earned, paid) Develop ad copy, targeting criteria, and placement on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. Provide detailed performance reports. 
  • Email campaigns Create, execute, and analyze campaigns and targeting strategies for marketing and development departments.  
  • SEM Oversee consultants who manage Google Grant Adwords account. Manage paid search strategy. 
  • Google Display Network Deploy retargeting and acquisition display ads.   
  • Website Update content including blog, artist pages, campaign specific landing pages, and lead generation tools. Oversee web developer. Deliver Google Analytics insights and recommendations for updates.
    Content Calendar Maintain organization-wide content calendar for website, social, print, and email communications. 
  • Content Creation Work closely with graphic designer to envision and oversee content and communications for marketing and development departments. 
  • Database Management Master CRM to pull lists and segment patrons, analyze data (sales, donations, demographics), and take ticket orders, as needed. 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • 2+ years’ professional digital marketing experience 
  • Results-oriented analytical and reporting skills 
  • Strong writing, copy editing, and communication skills 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Comfortable in multi-tasking to produce high-quality work on tight deadlines
    Design-driven sensibility; experienced in developing engaging web content 
  • Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, video editing software a plus 
  • Interest in the performing arts preferred 

This contract position pays $35/hour with a minimum guarantee of 24 hours/week for 6 months. If candidate is offered a full time, salaried position at the end of the contract period, salary will be renegotiated, and benefits will be offered.

Work Environment
Global Arts Live offices are located in Central Square, Cambridge. We are a small, friendly, and dedicated team. We work closely together and are very passionate about what we do. There’s an office dog (sometimes two) to keep things lively.
