Summary
I am passionate and focused on exploring what avenues are the best for expressing talent. I have skills acquired over decades of learning, experience, and positions that I am good at. My mission now is to do what I am best at, and in doing so, be a life model for my children.
My gifts have always been in creative endeavors. Those talents have a lot of synergy with efficient, creative, and practical operations and logistics management. The difference was a matter of topical enjoyment and satisfaction. If I didn’t know how to do something, then my method has been to dive into being “on-point” in finding out how to learn what is needed with the resources available.
Some core principles, my operational philosophy, translate well across professional, creative, and entrepreneur fields, and are:
* Flexibility – being able to adjust course as needed, and not cling to any one expectation,
* Curiosity – become fearless in learning, unafraid to admit ignorance, and open to new ideas and methods,
* Safety – in all things, think of the ramifications and potential consequences of choices made,
* Boldness – any ideas that make sense, and are considerate of the impact trees, while remaining within resource availability, and deployment ability should be considered,
* Courage – a willingness to jump into an idea, lesson, or strategy, even if it’s the first time doing it,
* Resilience – increase abilities to weather the storms, shake off setbacks, and look for where the “open doors” are, while expanding the capability of proactively avoiding the closed doors,
* Authentic Networking – find those individuals, groups, and/or organizations that care equally about the people they are engaging, as well as those they are not.
