Position Status: Part-time with opportunity to become full-time
Hours: Approximately 25 per week to start
Location: Remote with weekly office visits in either Marin County or San Francisco
The Mural Co. (TMC) is looking for a hungry, ambitious, and talented person with a passion for business development and the graffiti/street art/mural culture, who wants to be a part of a tight-knit team. This position is fundamental to TMC’s inner workings, from the administrative realm to project management to broader business development. This is a position with a lot of room for growth, and TMC is looking for someone who is very proactive and inspired who will make the most out of their role and their potential within the company. This position starts as a remote, part-time role with potential to evolve.
In this role, you will:
Work directly with company Founder and Creative Director to become TMC’s right-hand.
Master the logistics to successfully produce mural projects.
Learn fundamental skills to effectively manage mural projects.
Liaise with talented and well-known mural artists.
Conceive, plan, and execute your own creative business development visions and ideas.
Manage teams of people involved in large-scale installations/media documentation.
Identify and develop partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
Enjoy a tremendous amount of personal and creative freedom to shape your role and contribute to company growth.
About the Job:
Be responsible for quickly and efficiently responding to project requests.
Be responsible for all administrative duties, such as keeping track of project logistics and details, promptly responding to client emails, and so on. (Note: we do not accept incoming calls, so there is little phone call fielding involved.)
Co-manage mural installations.
Identify and activate high value marketing opportunities and partnerships.
You are based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
You have a genuine interest in graffiti, street art, and mural culture.

You have business development/marketing skills.
You are a self-starter and proactive (as this is a remote position and a casual environment).

Ways to Stand Out (some or all):
Prior experience with a high-volume workload / quick with basic admin tasks.
Successful implementation of marketing strategies with good results.
Production experience (art related).
Prior professional or personal experience with art-related endeavors or projects.
The Mural Co. is an award-winning company that curates, manages, and installs large-scale mural projects across the Bay Area, LA, and other locations. TMC started in the Bay Area in 2014 and was immediately inundated with great projects and opportunities, as well as a large list of artists eager to be involved. TMC loves to focus on large-scale mural installations and passion-inspired mural projects. They also create office installations and “live painting” projects. TMC’s HQ is located in Marin County amongst the Redwoods.
