(Variable, 0-15 hours per week, mid-June to September)

Pay rate:  $13/hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Distributing brochures, posters, and flyers to partner businesses and local events in the D.C. metro area.
• Build and maintain relationships with contacts at various partner businesses and organizations.
• Keep track of the distribution of marketing materials and remove/replace materials as they become out of date.
• Seek opportunities to grow street team presence by finding and proposing new locations.
• Represent Wolf Trap Foundation at both on-site and off-site events by manning promotional tables or booths.
• Maintain a positive image of Wolf Trap at all times while building rapport with current and future patrons.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to partner businesses and local events in the D.C. metro area.
• Strong organization and communication skills, and working knowledge of Wolf Trap, its various venues, and the organizations mission is a must.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time outside during summer months, and have a flexible schedule (daytime, evening and weekend hours required).
• Previous promotions or street team experience a plus.
