Perry-Mansfield
https://perry-mansfield.orgNestled into 74 acres of wilderness, Perry-Mansfield is the oldest continuously operating performing arts camp in the United States. The camp was founded on the principles that an exploration of the arts in a natural setting would create new inspiration for art as well as to allow for collaboration between artistic disciplines while challenging campers physically, artistically and emotionally.
Throughout its history, the camp has been a pioneering influence in the development of modern dance, choreography, and performing arts education.
Founders Charlotte (Kingo) Perry and Portia Mansfield spent their lives “lifting” people and encouraging others to follow their dreams no matter how impossible they appeared. Today, both students and faculty dream new dreams of lives in the arts and continue to shape the future of dance and theatre.
Perry-Mansfield’s Mission is to provide young people superior arts training in body, heart and mind and to promote creativity, a sense of the close association of the arts, and the values of a way of life close to nature.
