Full-Time Lecturer of Dance
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure non-tenure track Lecturer of Dance faculty position in the Department of Dance which begins August 2019.
The Department of Dance at Kennesaw State University invites applications for a 9-month, full- time, non-tenure track, renewable Lecturer position in dance starting August 2019. Candidates must possess a technical emphasis in Modern or Ballet dance and have strong choreographic skills. In addition to 4:4 teaching expectations, job responsibilities include institutional and professional services. The department seeks candidates who are passionate about teaching students in a performance-focused Bachelor of Arts program.
MFA, earned doctorate, or the foreign equivalent in dance, or equivalent in training, ability and/or experience.
An established record of professional experience in the field and strong choreographic skills.
At least two years of collegiate teaching experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate will contribute expertise in an additional area such as Kinesiology, Pedagogy, Somatics, Jazz, Hip Hop, etc.
