Full-Time Instructional Program Manager (IPM) – Theatre and Entertainment Technology
The Instructional Program Manager (IPM)/Production Designer for the Theatre and Entertainment Technology Program manages the day-to-day operations of the program. In addition, this person will teach various courses within the program as needed, including but not limited to Stagecraft, Lighting, Properties, Scenic Design, Drafting and Sound. Additionally, the IPM/Production designer will secure adjunct faculty for classes when appropriate and supervise student internships and capstone projects.
This position is responsible for the coordination and staging of student performance/events at the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts. This includes the design of Scenery and/or Lighting for two theatrical productions, and two dance concerts produced by the Fine Arts Department. This position also has an active responsibility for technical support for an annual Summer Musical Theatre Production. Most importantly, because this is a small program, the IPM must serve as the key recruiter, advisor, and cheerleader of each student in the program.
