Internship FAIR at OSF
FAIR is a professional development program that provides participants with an advanced opportunity to learn best practices across all administration artistic, design, & production disciplines.
FAIR is an acronym and represents the following:
FAIR’s mission and vision is to achieve equity within the Oregon Shakespeare Festival while creating, participating, and supporting efforts that sustain equity throughout the field of American theatre. The methodology of FAIR is to create opportunities for the next generation of theatre practitioners to have a collaborative exchange of knowledge, skills and perspectives with experienced professionals. We extend over 60 opportunities in a wide range of categories: directing, scenic design, props, costume, sound, administration, producing, dramaturgy, and many more. In most cases, prior theatre experience is not required for participation and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
Fellowships, Assistantships, and Residencies are offered on a competitive basis and recipients are provided round-trip airfare, complimentary housing, and a monthly stipend to cover their expenses. Interns do not receive stipends and are responsible for their own travel and housing costs.
