Job Description

UWGB is in Green Bay, Wisconsin which is located at the southern end of Green Bay, an arm of Lake Michigan. Green Bay is a vibrant community with a metro population of over 300,000, and is approximately 90 miles north of Milwaukee, about a 3-hr drive to Chicago, and is the third largest city on Lake Michigan after Milwaukee and Chicago.
With its location and geography, Green Bay is easily accessible for a day trip of great skiing in the winter months and to enjoy beautiful mountains and the lakefront.
Green Bay boasts a thriving entertainment and arts scene, revitalized downtown, and two college campuses, creating an energy that appeals to all lifestyles.

UWGB is also the home of The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, or The Weidner. The Weidner is located on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on the far east side of the city.
Presenting a wide variety of cultural, entertaining and educational performing arts, The Weidner serves the Northeastern Wisconsin community while also hosting the University’s theatrical and musical ensembles and features local musicians, traveling theatre troupes, stand-up comedy shows, University musicals and anything else that can be performed on a stage. This beautiful and massive center displays original artwork throughout and is full of theatrical traditions formed over the years. The Weidner also has world-renowned acoustics.
