The School of Performing Arts within the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences of Pace University invites applications for an anticipated faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) in the BFA Acting for Film, Television, Voiceovers and Commercials Program to begin September 2019. The position is located at the University’s New York City campus in lower Manhattan.
Candidates should have an MFA and be able to teach from a non-prescriptive approach, utilizing a range of acting styles and methodologies. The candidate should have extensive experience in the on-camera and microphone mediums, whether being in front of the camera, behind the camera, in the casting room or production. The position involves teaching in the program and the potential for directing/producing projects within the program. Other responsibilities include assisting in the recruitment process, mentoring students and working with faculty across the entire department.
