Summary

My name is Steven Kramer. I have recently graduated from Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada) where I gained my Masters in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management. While the primary focus of my Masters is heavily concentrated around photography and photo-objects, the Collections Management portion of this degree insures graduates, like myself, gain experience and are educated in museum archival, catalog and registration practices. During the course of the two full year program at Ryerson I have interned at both the National Museum of Australia under the supervision of Head of Conservation: Vickie Humphrey, as well as at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto under the supervision of Photography Curators Maia Sutnik, Sophie Hackett and Collections Manager Liana Radvak.

I believe the skill sets and experiences acquired during both my time at Ryerson University and interning at the institutions mentioned, provide me with the very qualifications required to assist the needs of any Museum’s archives, collections management, photography department, or even design department.
