I am a third-year university student double majoring in theatre arts and English. My resume lists my professional experience, volunteer experience, and various honors I have earned throughout high school and college.
I am a third-year college student attending the University of Texas at Austin. I am double majoring in English and Theatre & Dance with an emphasis in Performer’s Process (i.e. acting). I also have a minor in French studies. I am an honors student within the Department of Theatre & Dance and am currently conducting original research which will culminate in a 20+ page thesis and an hour-long video essay.
My first job was a part-time position at Target, where I worked as a Guest Services Team Member from July 2018 – August 2018. In addition to cashiering duties, I was responsible for managing self-checkout stations, stocking and organizing newly arrived merchandise, and providing instruction to new hires. I also delegated workflow by assigning fellow team members to checkout lane positions where I saw fit.
At Texas Performing Arts, I worked as a Student Administrative Assistant from October 2019 – August 2020. I was responsible for answering patron inquiries by phone. In order to do so, I utilized my own general knowledge of the facility and navigated an extensive directory of FAQs and referral numbers for various departments, including the Bass Concert Hall ticket office and general management. I also set up equipment (stanchions, ticket scanners, metal detectors, merchandise booths, etc) in specific layouts according to the type of performance to be held (concert, touring Broadway production, etc). I regularly cleaned and sanitized dining and seating areas, replaced and restocked posters and pamphlets, and delivered mail to various departments.
