Responsibilities include construction layout and overseeing building of scenic elements, implementation of lighting designs of 4 main stage productions each academic year, and numerous student productions and non-departmental events. Additionally, training and supervision of a student crew of 6-10 individuals in building scenery, installing lights, and maintaining a consistent inventory of equipment. Further mentor and instruct student run crews for various productions.
Manton Avenue Project – Providence RI, Fund Raising Gala Lighting Designer 2010 – 2012
Designed and implemented lighting design for annual Gala and charity auction. Also assisted in supporting other technical requirements of the event, including audio support and providing scenic and prop elements, both constructed and from existing inventory.
East Coast Lighting And Production Services – Warwick, RI, Rental Shop Technician 2006
Assembled rental packages consisting of lighting and audio equipment, cable, color, and all other needed accessories based on specification sheets and pull lists. Worked with other shop staff load and unload rental equipment to ensure order completion and safe handling and securing of materials for transport. Installed lighting and sound equipment on location to support overall event aesthetics based on customer input.
