ITINERATE ART TEACHER. Polk County Public Schools, Haines City and Davenport, FL (2014-2015). As an Itinerate Art Teacher, taught art classes at Alta Vista Elementary, Horizons Elementary, and Sandhill Elementary. Provided art instruction based upon State of Florida Art Curriculum Benchmarks for K-5.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER. Polk County Public Schools, Lakeland, FL (2005-2014). For youth age kindergarten-grade 12, provided instruction based on daily lesson plans, learned to manage and instruct classrooms of children from various backgrounds.
ART INSTRUCTOR. VSAFL, Central Florida, (April 2012-2014). As a contract instructor, taught art classes at Dr. N.E. Roberts Elementary, Memorial Elementary, Sebring Middle School, and Spook Hill Elementary that introduced children with disabilities to various art techniques and media.
ART INSTRUCTOR. Polk Museum of Art, Lakeland, FL (2003-2004, 2012) As an Art Camp Instructor, provided art instruction in Drawing, Painting, and Mixed-media to children ages 5-13 years old. In 2001-2004, work in various outreach programs instructing participants in different art lessons.
ART INSTRUCTOR. Lakeland Housing Authority, Lakeland, FL (2006-2008). As a contract instructor, taught art classes at Paul Colton and West Lake community centers that introduced children to various art techniques and media.
ART INSTRUCTOR. Florida Dance Theatre, Lakeland, FL (2004-2007). As a contract instructor, provided art lessons that illustrated the relationship between visual and performing arts for youth dance camp students.

Related Experience. Has exhibited artwork in many different exhibitions throughout central Florida, taught private art lessons to various ages at Florida Dance Theatre and First Presbyterian Church, and organized the visual art portions of Dreams: Black Culture Showcase and LAS: Latino Arts Showcase. Provided Christian based art lessons for students at New Jerusalem Christian Academy in Lakeland, Florida. Work as a Gallery Monitor at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
