Summary
I have extensive training and experience in all phases of theatrical production, professionally and in academic settings. I have additional years of work in experiential marketing, building and coordinating trade-show booth properties, museum presentations and corporate displays. I have experience as well in acting and directing, and earned my first master’s degree in theater history and criticism. I have fifteen years experience in AutoCAD, and currently teach a 200-level CAD course for a state university.

INSTRUCTION
Teach undergraduate classes in theater production, speech and CAD. Supervise production and operation of all dance, opera and theater season for a nationally-recognized liberal arts college. Increased student participation in departmental activities. Encouraged student theater productions and provided resources and support. Mentored students through independent projects. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
CAD Detailing: Provide vendors with finished preliminary and final drawings for floorplans, sections, elevations and construction of booth components for tradeshow, retail, museum and presentation industry clients. Produce plans for wood cabinetry construction, aluminum and steel construction by vendors, and onsite installation. Coordinate with shops, graphic artists, vendors and sales department and across computer platforms. Optimize use of available software packages: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Windows, Macintosh, and Linux environments.
Planning: Estimate and bid projects. Develop bill of materials, material schedules. Write, bid and authorize changes of work. Develop technical requirements and specs for projects. Work with vendors to draft technical plans to specification and oversee construction with union, non-union or student crews. Design production calendars and coordinated efforts between vendors and production departments to ensure on-time project completion. Determined equipment and supply needs; arranged purchases and rentals within budgets.
Supervise seven theatrical productions per season for a 500-seat theater, and 43 music, dance and visual art presentations for a 1700-seat outdoor summer facility. Chaired production meetings and coordinated project operations with staff and employees. Scheduled and supervised 12-30 person staff of full-time, intern and student employees. Developed equipment and facilities to expand production capacity and increase productivity.
