I am a museum professional who has developed and managed budgets of $1.8 million dollars, lead curatorial teams, headed collections projects and overseen exhibit, staff and facilities operations for various museums and education programs and I am excited for a new opportunity to do the same.

I have provided curatorial research and project management services for museums, private collections, public exhibitions and publications, including:
• Conceptualize and develop temporary and permanent exhibitions including drafting narrative gallery text, developing educational materials, and serving as content consultant
• Served as project manager for exhibition planning, design and installation at the Museum of Sex including:
• Supporting production, installation, evaluation, and remediation phases of an exhibition and related educational programs and other deliverables.

I have established and managed operations and administration logistics and visitor services procedures for a variety of museums, traveling exhibits and attractions, including:
• Coordinate and manage exhibition plans and budgets
• Administered rental programs for traveling exhibits and activity kits domestically and internationally, including ongoing communication with rental partners, budget and supply tracking, pick-up/drop-off planning, host cultivation, and overall customer service and care for the Brooklyn Children’s Museum
• Secure insurance for facilities, storage and artifacts
• Draft and manage contracts with curatorial contractors, exhibition designers, lenders, and borrowing institutions
• Create, maintain and guide exhibition development and installation schedules
• Lead interdepartmental exhibition development meeting
• Serve as liaison with outside developers and designers
• Maintain archive of exhibit development process including all relevant proposals, contracts and registrarial paperwork
• Work with marketing and sales representatives to develop and implement marketing campaigns and sales and promotions initiatives
• Edit and design catalogues and brochures and promotional materials
• Oversee facilities including capital construction projects
• Hire, train and manage permanent and temporary staff members

My experience includes a wide-range of records management practices, collections storage strategies and acquisition, loan and condition reporting procedures.
• Devise collection acquisition and storage plans for private collections and start-up museums and exhibitions
• Directed the acquisition, storage, records management systems and exhibition programs of the Museum of Sex permanent collection (over 20,000 artifacts). This included:
• Researching, planning and implementing preventative conservation measures
• Devising solutions for physical storage of three-dimensional artifacts and custom build archival storage boxes
• Managing the project for digitalizing collections including tools, ephemera, textiles, costumes, ceramics, and furnishings
• Researching and securing loans and coordinating acquisitions for a variety of exhibitions domestically and internationally
• Standardized collections databases and processes for the Museum of Sex, Merchant House Museum, and Rubin Museum of Art
• Developed procedures that clarify and enhance condition reports and data collection procedures for the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Arts
