Summary
My mission is to share my enthusiasm and conviction for the arts in innovative and collaborative ways. I believe that the arts are fundamental to the holistic individual and society. The arts can be a powerful vehicle to uplift, unite, create change, and heal. I relish in any opportunity to ignite the creative spark, and help people to recognize and utilize the motivating and restorative power of the arts. Professionally, through my dedication to Transformational pedagogies, I aim to engage all of my students with their various learning styles through creating dynamic experiences for active learning to develop transferable 21st Century knowledge and skills.

Director of Education, The Delaware Contemporary (DCCA), Wilmington, DE 2015-2018
- Develop and manage annual Education Department budget and cash flow, daily maintenance of more than a dozen individual program budgets, including all necessary purchasing/receiving, and tracking of expenses for grant reports
- Design and maintain over 20 programs per year for ages Three – Adults including a Community-based Artist in Residence, Family Programs, Classes and Workshops, Make & Mingle Series, Lecture Series, Professional Development for Artists, Annual Educator Forum, Innovative registration and grant-based Summer Camps, Afterschool High School Arts Clubs, Curriculum-Aligned Arts-Integrated Outreach Programs for title-one K-12 schools, and the Volunteer Museum Tour Guide Program
- Hire and Supervise a staff of approximately 30 including an Associate, a Clay Workshop Supervisor, roster of teaching artists, guides, interns, and volunteers
- Assist Development Department in writing and reporting for national, state, corporate, and foundation grants
- Manage all daily departmental responsibilities including but not limited to program on and off-site scheduling, teaching artist support and lesson plan review, photo/video documentation, registration, evaluations, ordering and receiving, and mailing lists.
