Summary
Designing and creating in various disciplines is my passion. In my latest design realm I’ve advanced my installation and horticultural knowledge. I love enhancing my skills by attending workshops, conventions, and classes. My artwork has been featured in solo and group exhibitions. In addition, I’ve produced various freelance projects. I have bachelors degrees in both Studio Art and Sociology from City University of New York at Hunter College.

BACHELORS OF ART IN STUDIO ART, AND SOCIOLOGY
Having studied studio art with a concentration in oil painting, I became skilled in various art and design mediums. I also pursued sociology which provided me with a wide understanding of humanity. Throughout these years I also captained the women’s volleyball team and led them to 3 conference titles.

In this year I acquired a good foundation in studio arts and design. I participated in the Student Art League and through that completed collaborative projects throughout the campus.

Designer and Lead Installer
INTERIOR PLANTSCAPES INC.
2017 – 2019
As the lead installer I managed all new interior plant installations. This involved going over designs with the appropriate sales rep, purchasing all materials, working with my team to manufacture the vision, and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction. In this position I also created designs, attended design conventions, and furthered my horticultural education.

2016 – 2017
BOO’S FLORAL SHOWCASE
While in this industry my prominent roles were designing floral arrangements, managing social media, general shop upkeep, and customer service.
Production Artist Intern

STEVEN & WILLIAM LADD
I assisted artists Steven and William in multiple projects involving sculpture, sewing, and beadwork. Additionally I attended their gallery openings, such as Chapel at The Invisible Dog Art Center, as well as participated in their workshops.

THE CRAFT STUDIO
2014 – 2017
I taught and assisted groups of 15-30 children in various art mediums. I also traveled locally for private parties and events. We volunteered with many organizations including Memorial Sloan Cancer Society and The Stanley Isaac’s Center.
