Summary
Throughout the past 30 years I have worked professionally as a Stage Manager, Production Stage Manager, Company/Tour Manager, Theatre Manager and Performing Arts Administrative Assistant. I have also worked in college settings, children and teen theatre, and have been an active volunteer in several community theatres, with an emphasis in production work and performance. My current work in Theatre is with the Blue Slipper Theatre (Livingston, Montana), as an actress and serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors.

I have a BA in Theatre, with an emphasis in Stage Management and Production Management, from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point College of Fine Arts, Theatre and Dance (1986-1991)

Goal
To be wholeheartedly involved in the management and promotion of a well-established Arts Center or Theatre Company, to build on its successes by bringing unique and vibrant experiences of theatre, music and dance to the community, with an emphasis on national and international artists and companies.
Professional Skills & Experiences in the Arts
Managerial and Supervisory Skills
Production Coordinator for a program that hosted national and international artists, with the primary purpose of bringing the performing and visual arts to local and regional school children living in rural areas.
In collaboration with Education departments and teachers, designed and produced educational packets representing visiting performing artists and art exhibits for student outreach programs.
Experience in coordinating logistics for visiting national and international performing artists, actors, directors and technical teams. This included arranging for auditions, lodging, welcoming packets, travel arrangements and production care.
Coordinated all travel details and hotel accommodations for touring companies.
Liaison between the visiting Artistic, Production and Technical Directors, and the hosting Arts Center.
Production Stage Manager for Youth Theatre, Summer Stock, and Art Festivals.
Director of volunteers, including recruiting, scheduling and matching talents with tasks. Participants were of all ages and social and economic backgrounds.
Production Manager responsible for hiring staff, and assisting in the process of auditions for the cast, managing financial details, handling production meetings, and assisting in marketing.
Coordinated and produced Sundays at Three, a program which celebrated local performing artists of all ages; sought out and booked artists, managed the marketing of the series, designed and produced the programs, stage managed each event and coordinated all technical needs.

Quantitative Skills
Experience in writing and co-authoring successful grants for performing arts programs that brought regional, national and international performing artists to venues, as well as supported educational opportunities for students to experience these artists.
As an Office Administrator, significant duties included: coordinated pledge drives with the Marketing Director. Handled all logistics for an audition process held in various cities in the U.S.
Contributor for the Park County Community Journal (Livingston, Montana), submitting articles that review Theatre productions, and local and regional artists.
Arranged for staff meetings and took minutes. General office duties.
Strong research and writing skills, having produced several training manuals, production ledgers, and assisting in grant proposals.
Stayed within or under budget for catered events, travel logistics and gift shop inventory, without compromising quality.
Participated in the marketing and fundraising efforts for events; from mailings, pledge drives, developing programs and producing events.
