I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, which taught me that anything is possible with the proper application of time, resources or high explosives.

Since then, I’ve spent 25 years Learning While Doing in the Arts.

Everywhere I’ve lived over the last 25+ years, I’ve helped change the neighborhood through my galleries, artistic interventions and collaborations, and other arts-centric programming.

I’ve done just about everything.

I’m a swiss-army-knife kind of Arts Professional…  A Libra with a fairly balanced Left and Right brain, I’ve built and directed my own galleries, worked in museums and nonprofits, and spent nearly 25 years cultivating the practical experience, knowledge, and contacts which I believe make me a valuable contributor to any arts-related organization, team, or project.

I can work WITH you, or you can turn it over to me, and I’ll run with it.  After all, the Show must go on!

I’m apparently good at grantwriting; I have a very high success rate.

I understand the business side, too: before I discovered my passion, I worked in engineering, logistics, customer service and sales. As a result, I understand and value cooperation, deadlines and communication. As a sales rep for a trucking company which handled hazardous and high-security freight, I managed a 7-state territory from the road and my kitchen table, and grew revenue 10-fold in under 3 years, by simply listening to and Taking Care of the Customer.

I’m an out-of-the-box, “Why Not?” kind of thinker.
