Summary
Artist and photographer who specializes multimedia art creation, collaboration with international artists, and development of local community art workshops and projects. Interested mainly in methods of contemporary art practice that aim to create a wider, collaborative dialogue on both international and local scales. Alisa holds a M.F.A. in Global Art Practice from Tokyo University of the Arts, where she worked under the guidance of advisers Taho Ritsuko and O JUN. Her thesis project, a multimedia work in painted portraits, photographs and text on handmade Japanese paper, “Voices from Okinawa: Between Light and Darkness,” explored interviews with local people in the Nago region of Okinawa, Japan. She is proficient in spoken and written Japanese.

Identified information such as names and years from annual paper reports and input data into Excel to develop a database of the beneficiaries in the NF-JLEP program throughout the years.
