Contemporary Art Gallery in Chelsea is seeking a motivated and hard working gallery assistant to assist in all facets of gallery operation including inventory entries, digital imaging, front desk duties, mailings, and general assistance to Gallery Owner and Director.

This position is largely archival in nature so requires an applicant with excellent attention to detail and good Photoshop skills.
As part of a small, active team, the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment is critical as is the ability to handle a large work load. 
The gallery assistant will serve as first point of contact for the gallery, so it is important to be professional, personable and friendly.

Previous NY Gallery experience is required and applicants without experience will not be considered.
