Mallett Inc., a leading international antiques gallery, is looking for a part-time gallery manager.
This position will be 2-3 days per week, and will involve working closely with clients and helping a small team develop and establish business.

Duties to include:

• Coordinating internal and client shipping of goods
• Managing and purchasing of all office supplies and systems
• Processing all outgoing and incoming invoices and payments
• Day-to-day banking
• Administering all employee related matters (insurance, payroll, scheduling)
• Assisting director with travel arrangements, correspondence, schedule
• Overseeing all gallery events (caterers, flowers, printing and mailing of brochures, invitations, etc.)
• Filing of internal documents
• Tracking of all inventory movements

Necessary skills include:

• An art history and/or finance background is preferred
• Bachelors degree
• Computer abilities – must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Photoshop
• Excellent organizational and communications skills as well as smart presentation are important
• A good sense of humor and ability to undertake any and every task presented on a day-to-day basis

Ideal candidate should have 3+ years work experience.
Experience in related field preferred.
Salary commensurate with experience
