Part-Time Studio Manager/Administrative Assistant
Established artist is currently seeking a part time, with possibilities leading to full-time, Administrative Assistant/Studio Manager to oversee all aspects of an active professional artist’s studio.
Skills necessary include a high proficiency with Photoshop and graphic design experience. Comfort in managing and designing Eblasts, website upkeep, social media, and frequent promotional design pieces both digital and printed.
Responsibilities include managing online database for tracking and capturing artwork registration; coordinating shipping and deliveries, managing studio storage, acting as liaison with galleries, museums and collectors, coordination of studio events, and other tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and possess strong communication skills- both verbal and written. Must have strong organizational skills, coupled with high aesthetic sensibilities. Experience working in gallery, museum or studio environment is essential.
Ideal Candidate will possess:
-High-level computer/Graphic Design skills (Mac environment)
-Proficiency with InDesign, expert Photoshop skills
-Ability to troubleshoot technology issues
-Good basic photography skills
-Experience safely packing and moving works of art
-Understanding of Social Media: Facebook, E-Blasts, WordPress
-Familiarity with digital storage: DropBox, Google drive, and hard backups
-Basic Microsoft office proficiency
