Full-Time Job Production Coordinator, Scenic & Millwork Shop

Coordinate workflow, assignments and schedules to meet deadlines, in collaboration with competing project managers.
Oversee production teams, provide leadership and direction in the shop, manage tasks through hands on leadership and appropriate delegation.
Orchestrate production and production support activities of the facility.
Collaborate with administrators, executives and project managers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, materials and equipment.
Train and supervise shipping/receiving and general labor employees, schedule drivers, assign vehicles, oversee preparation and loading of finished product for delivery.
Provide safety and industrial training for new and existing employees.
Manage the environmental health and safety, and emergency response programs.
Complete special projects as needed.
This is a full-time position. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a millwork or scenic environment preferred.
Experience in wood working, cabinet building, and metal working highly preferred.
Hands-on manager with strong communication skills.
Proven ability to work with, direct and motivate team to meet high-quality, time sensitive results.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
