Part-Time Job Part Time Faculty in Theatre Technology
Eastern Connecticut State University’s growing Theatre Department is seeking qualified part-time individual to teach Theatre Technology Classes in Set Construction and possibly other courses.
THE 225 Set Construction is a hands-on laboratory class involved in the construction of department theatre production scenery. Candidate would work in our one-year-old state-of-the-art theatres and scene shop with students as well as other staff and faculty. If desired, candidate could also teach one additional class and possibly also work an additional 19 hours a week as a Theatre Program University Assistant. Jobs are limited to an academic calendar of fall and spring semesters and do not include health insurance.
A Master’s degree in a related field is required. Candidates must be experienced in typical Stage Carpentry activity including wood and metal work and counterweight arbor rigging.
