Job Description

David Kordansky Gallery (Los Angeles) seeks a full-time Gallery Manager.

The Gallery Manager will oversee personnel/HR matters, office management, and event coordination.
This is a full-time, managerial position, Monday through Friday, and requires flexibility for additional hours based on the needs of the gallery (i.e. opening receptions, dinners, etc.).

Qualified candidates will be professional and highly organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. S/he must have a high level of discretion and sound judgment, and be able to work well as a proactive participant in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The candidate should be able to work calmly under pressure and successfully lead conflict resolution.

Prior experience handling HR and office management at an art gallery, museum, or comparable arts organization required. Ability to effectively recruit, train, and manage staff must be demonstrated. Experience with event planning preferred.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience and a benefits package will be offered.
