Job Description

Day Camp seeks Crafts instructor with two or more years of paid teaching experience in a traditional and non-traditional setting.
Instructors focus on presenting three dimensional projects (not fine arts projects) related to a camp wide themes to children ages 6-12 years old.
Only apply if you have experience in presenting or developing projects in at least five of the areas listed: ceramics, sculpturing, mosaic tiling, wood crafts, masking making, doll making, quilting, jewelry, framing, roller derby cars, space vehicles which are just few examples of craft- type offerings.
Experience with slow animation video production is a plus.
Presentation of art work portfolio is expected at interview.

Candidate must be a college graduate with art teaching experience in a school or camp setting.

Rate of pay is $850-$925/week depending on experience.
Candidates must be available for orientation during the week of June 19th Camp session is from 6/26/17 – 7/28/17 with possibility of extending employment into August ending 8/11/17.
