Full-Time Job Community School of the Arts Director

Provide visionary, administrative, and budgetary leadership to the Community School of the Arts. The Director plans and implements comprehensive arts programming for people of all ages and abilities in the greater Wabash Valley.
Has direct supervisory responsibilities as a first-line supervisor. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (4 years); Experience: 1-2 Years; Music, Art, Theater, Dance or Arts Administration; record of active involvement in community arts programs.

Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills; grant writing; program scheduling; budget management and demonstrated passion for the arts.
Work with chairpersons in artistic disciplines to recruit and hire professional and student instructors for the community school. Supervise and evaluate staff. Schedule a balanced program of the arts for the CSA including classes, private lessons, workshops, and summer camps.
