Duties:
Teach three undergraduate classes per semester including Survey I (prehistory through the Romanesque period) and II (Gothic through Romanticism), and advanced-level classes in either the period from ancient art through the Middle Ages OR the Renaissance up to the Nineteenth Century; to develop a vigorous research program; to regularly present and publish the results of research at professional meetings and in high-quality publications; and to serve on school, college, and university committees as assigned.

Qualifications:
A PhD in Art History in hand by time of appointment is required.
A strong research and publication agenda, teaching experience at the college level, and commitment to undergraduate teaching is required.
The ability and willingness to teach survey courses from prehistory through Romanticism as well as advanced-level classes in either the period from ancient art through the Middle Ages OR the Renaissance up to the Nineteenth Century is required.

Preferred qualifications:
The ability to teach history of non-Western art, record of scholarly publication, strong interest in program development and coordination.
