Duties:
To teach three undergraduate classes per semester including Survey II (Gothic through Romanticism), Survey III (Realism through the present), and advanced-level classes from the Nineteenth Century through the present; to develop a vigorous research program; to regularly present and publish the results of research at professional meetings and in high-quality publications; to enhance the school’s on-line and DL course offerings; and to serve on school, college, and university committees as assigned.

Qualifications:
A PhD in Art History in hand by time of appointment is required. Strong research and publication agenda, teaching experience at the college level, and commitment to undergraduate teaching is required.
The ability and willingness to teach survey courses from the Gothic era through the present as well as advanced-level classes from the Nineteenth Century to the present is required.

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to teach History of Design and/or history of non-Western art; record of scholarly publication; strong interest in program development and coordination.
