Arts Recruitment Coordinator
Reporting to the Vice President for Access and Enrollment and working closely with the Dean of the College, the Arts Recruitment Coordinator will lead all recruiting efforts for visual and performing arts programs. Develops and implements national recruiting efforts for all arts-related majors; represents Winthrop University and the College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) at high school and college day/night programs in and outside South Carolina; plans visits with in-state and out-of-state school counselors, teachers and other talent-specific personnel and follows up as needed. Coordinates and manages the audition and portfolio review process for all majors within CVPA. Conducts interviews, counseling sessions, and campus tours with prospective students and their families; evaluates undergraduate applications and facilities graduate applications; and answers questions from individuals regarding admission or the University in general. Performs other related duties as required.
