Job Description

AEA Company New York Stage and Film seeks fulltime summer administrative staff for 2012 Powerhouse Season of new plays at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Season will consist of 2-3 fully-produced mainstage productions, 2-3 play workshops, 2 musical workshops and 8-10 readings. Positions run June to early-August. Staff are paid a weekly salary and provided free on-campus housing.

World-class artists who have worked with NYSAF include writers John Patrick Shanley, Eric Bogosian, Beth Henley, Steve Martin and Theresa Rebeck; directors Leigh Silverman Mark Brokaw, Michael Greif, Joe Mantello and Michael Mayer; designers Russell Champa, Don Holder, Derek McLane, Neil Patel and Darron West; and actors Chris Cooper, Olympia Dukakis, Marcia Gay Harden, Julianna Margulies, Logan Marshall-Green, Mary McDonnell, Frances McDormand, Bill Pullman, Josh Radnor, and Kyra Sedgwick.

2012 season TBA. The 2011 season included new works by John Patrick Shanley, Patricia Wettig, Steven Sater & Duncan Sheik, Gabriel Kahane & Seth Bockley, Seth Zvi Rosenfeld, Mona Mansour, Frank Pugliese, and Dar Williams.

Administrative positions:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT and ASSISTANT COMPANY MANAGER.
