Sarah Lawrence College, a small highly selective college with a strong tradition in the performing arts, seeks an Associate Production Manager in the Theater department.

Associate Production Manager in the Theater department

Sarah Lawrence College, a small highly selective college with a strong tradition in the performing arts, seeks an Associate Production Manager in the Theater department. This is a one-year, 10-month appointment to run from mid-August, 2010 through mid-June, 2011.

Duties include:

• Assist technical director and production manager in mounting productions
• Track tech credit and assign student crews to productions
• Supervise technical rehearsals
• Mentor student stage managers
• Design lights, sound and sets as needed
• Assist in the building, painting, installation and striking of sets
• Co-teach the class “Tools of the Trade”
