Development Assistant

Youth America Grand Prix (www.yagp.org), a non-profit organization working with leading dance companies, schools and professionals in the U.S. and abroad has opportunity for a highly organized, self-motivated Development Assistant able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, challenging environment to:

- assist in grant writing,
- keep track of RSVPs to YAGP events,
- plan and coordinate fundraising events,
- work with members of the YAGP Board of Directors

Would be able to work in our Manhattan office or from home. Salary 35K/yr, with opportunity for salary increase based on performance.


REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent written & oral communication skills a must;
- typing skills, proficiency in MS Word/Excel required.
- willingness to work overtime when needed;
- organization, self-motivation, and follow-up skills;
- ability to prioritize tasks;
- willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the art of dance are a plus.
